Check your HAR

Here you can check any site the same way we do: see which third-party domains it contacts — ad networks, analytics, consent platforms — and therefore who receives information about your visit along with those requests.

The file is not uploaded to any server. The analysis runs entirely in your browser — the HAR is never sent anywhere, we neither see nor store it. You can verify this: open the Network tab in your developer tools and confirm that selecting a file triggers no outbound request.

How to get a HAR: open the site and open the developer tools — press F12 or Ctrl+Shift+I (on Mac, Cmd+Option+I). If the keyboard shortcuts don’t work, right-click anywhere on the page → “Inspect”. Then go to the Network tab, reload the page, right-click the request list → “Save all as HAR”.

Do not send your HAR file to anyone else. It contains your cookies, login tokens and other session data — enough to sign in to your account on that site. Checking it here is safe: the file never leaves your browser. To show the result to others, share the report (the buttons under the analysis), not the file itself. It is safest to record a HAR without being logged in.

What the check shows and what it cannot see. It shows which third-party domains the page contacted, when and how often, and who is behind known domains, based on our directory; unknown domains are listed separately. It cannot see what the site’s server does with the data afterwards, and it does not assess lawfulness: it matches requests, it does not reach legal conclusions.
