vrarena.ee

Website of the Another World VR arenas in Tallinn and Tartu

The website of the Another World VR arenas — 158 requests, 156 of them to its own domain. A banner with three equally weighted buttons, including 'Ainult vajalikud', with analytics and marketing categories switched off. Before any choice, only one request leaves the site — loading the Google Tag Manager container, which launches no tags. The privacy policy and the separate cookie policy are recent and name the controller, the recipients, and the right to complain. No violations recorded.

Context

vrarena.ee is the website of the Another World VR arenas in Tallinn and Tartu: games, prices, booking, gift cards, parties. The controller is E-smoke OÜ (registration code 12159697, Punane 1, Tallinn). The site runs on Next.js and is served through Cloudflare.

The measurement is a single capture: the homepage and navigation across the site’s sections, including the privacy policy and the cookie policy. In total, 158 requests, 156 of them to vrarena.ee.

Processing is described by the privacy policy and a separate cookie policy, both dated 14 July 2026.

Who receives data directly

Before any choice — only Google, loading the Tag Manager container. No one else.

Declared versus actual

Here, what is described and what runs match almost completely. The banner offers three equally weighted buttons, among them “Ainult vajalikud”. On the second layer, analytics and marketing are switched off by default and named explicitly: Google Analytics via GTM, and the Meta and TikTok pixels. The policy promises that these scripts load only after consent, and indeed, neither Google Analytics, nor Meta, nor TikTok loaded in the capture.

The policy names the controller with its details, the recipients by name — EveryPay, SMTP2GO, KOMMO, Google, Meta, TikTok, Smartpost, Omniva — retention periods, transfers outside the EEA, data subject rights, and the right to lodge a complaint with the Andmekaitse Inspektsioon.

Two minor remarks that do not affect the conclusion:

  • The Google Tag Manager container loads at +0.8 s, before any choice, although the policy lists GTM among what loads only with consent. The container itself launched no tags, but loading it passes the visitor’s IP address to Google. It would be more accurate either to describe it as a loader that always runs, or to load it after consent.
  • The retention section still contains an internal note, “täpsustage raamatupidamisega” (“check with accounting”) — a leftover from a template that should be removed.

Proven: refusal is available on the first layer. The “Ainult vajalikud” button in screenshot 1.

Proven: before any choice, only the GTM container load leaves the site. One request to www.googletagmanager.com across the whole capture, and not a single request to Google Analytics, Meta, or TikTok.

Not established: the decision in the banner. The choice is stored in localStorage and not sent to a server. The absence of analytics and pixels is consistent with refusal or with no decision. Behaviour after “Nõustun kõigiga” was not tested.

Boundaries of this observation

The measurement covers the site’s public sections. Booking, payment, and gift card purchase were not carried out. The observation records browser behavior, not server-side processing. The file has been published cleaned: Cookie headers and script bodies were removed.

Legal assessment falls to the competent authority — the Andmekaitse Inspektsioon.

Conclusion

Another World VR shows what this should look like on a small website: equally weighted refusal on the first screen, analytics and advertising only after consent, and a recent policy naming the recipients and the right to complain. In the capture, the only thing to leave the site before any choice was the tag container load. No violations recorded.

Suggestions: clarify in the policy the role of Google Tag Manager, which loads before any choice; remove the internal template note from the policy.

Evidence

How to verify: download the file and compute its checksum — sha256sum file.har (Linux, macOS) or certutil -hashfile file.har SHA256 (Windows); it must match the one shown. The conclusions apply to the scope of this measurement — see the limitations of the method.
