davinci.ee
Website of the Da Vinci café and patisserie chain and its online bakery shop bakery.davinci.ee — one recording, ten navigations, 747 requests, seven nodes. No data goes to analytics or advertising: the Google Tag Manager container loads but, across the whole recording, sends not a single data request, and the PixelYourSite Pro pixel manager installed in the shop calls no pixel service at all. A consent banner with an equal-weight reject button operates in the shop. The caveats concern transparency: the main site has no banner, the shop footer has no link to the data-protection terms, the details in the footer and in the policy name different legal entities at the same address, and unfilled template placeholders remain in the attached copy of the policy. The browser did not send a DNT header.

Context
davinci.ee is the website of the Da Vinci chain of cafés, restaurants and patisseries; bakery.davinci.ee is its WooCommerce online shop for bakery and confectionery products, with delivery via Bolt Food and Wolt and pickup in Tallinn and Tartu. Both domains run on WordPress, Apache/ZoneOS server.
Processing is described by the attached data-protection terms (Andmekaitsetingimused) — controller Gelato Italiano OÜ, registration code 11384908, Mõisa 4, 13522 Tallinn — and by the cookie document of the shop’s consent banner. The shop footer (screenshot) names a different legal entity at the same address — Da Vinci Restoranid OÜ. Attached to the material are two screenshots: the consent banner and the shop footer.
The measurement consists of one recording, ten navigations: the davinci.ee home page, then the shop home page, the bakery, kringle and bento-cake categories, and the contacts and terms-of-use pages. Seven hundred and forty-seven requests, seven nodes. The recording was made on 20 September 2026.
Who data goes to directly
Google (Tag Manager, Fonts), jsDelivr, cdnjs — resource loading, during which the IP address is visible to their servers. There is no analytics, advertising, pixels or RTB in the recording.
Declared versus actual
The data-protection terms apply to registered loyalty customers and subscribers, list recipients by category — including a ‘data-analysis software developer’ — and state that data is not stored or transferred outside the EEA. The banner’s cookie document promises to store third-party cookies for analytics, preferences and advertising only with prior consent, but in every category states ’no cookies to display’.
The measurement yields a discrepancy in the favourable direction as regards transmissions, and a number of caveats as regards transparency.
No data goes to analytics or advertising. The Google Tag Manager container (GTM-WNG9S9L2) loads on davinci.ee at +440 ms, but across all 747 requests not a single request to Google Analytics (/collect, /g/collect) arises. The shop has PixelYourSite Pro installed — a plugin for connecting advertising pixels — yet there is not a single request to Facebook, TikTok or other pixel services in the recording. The WooCommerce order attribution and sourcebuster modules record the visit source on the browser side and do not transmit it. The POST requests to wc-ajax and admin-ajax are a cart refresh and the selection of the pickup point ‘Tallinn (Solaris)’.
A consent banner with an equal-weight refusal operates in the shop. The cookie-law-info plugin on bakery.davinci.ee displays a banner with the buttons ‘Kohanda’, ‘Keeldu kõigist’ and ‘Nõustun kõigiga’ — refusal stands on equal footing with consent.
The main site has no banner. No consent plugin is installed on davinci.ee; the GTM container and Google fonts load from the markup immediately, so their servers see the visitor’s IP address. The container transmits no data beyond that.
Transparency caveats. Google Tag Manager and Google Fonts are not named in the documents. The shop footer’s customer-service section has no link to the data-protection terms — there are terms of use, product pickup, contacts, login and feedback. The footer names Da Vinci Restoranid OÜ, while the data-protection terms name Gelato Italiano OÜ, at one and the same address. In the attached copy of the terms, the controller’s email address is replaced by ‘[…]’, one of the retention periods is given as ‘[…3] kuud’, and the line on CCTV refers to ‘Da Vinci restaurants in the spa’ — traces of an unfilled template.
Consent: what is proven and what is not
Proven: there are no transmissions to analytics or advertising. Across 747 requests, not a single request to analytics, pixel or advertising services.
Proven: the shop has a banner with an equal-weight refusal. Per the screenshot — ‘Keeldu kõigist’ on equal footing with ‘Nõustun kõigiga’.
Proven: the main site has no banner. The consent plugin is connected only on bakery.davinci.ee; the GTM container and fonts on davinci.ee load unconditionally.
Not proven and not asserted: the user’s choice and the PixelYourSite settings. The cookie-law-info plugin stores the choice locally and does not send it over the network; script bodies are redacted in the published file, so which pixels exactly are configured in PixelYourSite Pro, and whether the banner blocks them, cannot be established from the recording. What is recorded is the result: not a single pixel fired.
Separately: the browser did not send a DNT header in this recording.
Bounds of observation
The measurement covers two pages of the main site and eight pages of the shop; no order was placed and no account login was performed. Observation captures the browser’s behaviour, not the internal side of the services: server-side processing, including of order data, is not verified by a browser measurement. The legal assessment is made by the competent authority — in Estonia, Andmekaitse Inspektsioon.
The file is published redacted under a “lean” profile: cookie values in requests have been removed, the Cookie and Set-Cookie headers stripped; the redaction registry records 373 redactions and a checksum. The bodies of the GTM container, consent-banner scripts and a number of pages are replaced with stubs; the conclusion about the absence of transmissions rests on the absence of the corresponding network requests. No security headers are observed on either domain’s responses.
The identification of services relies on domains and address patterns: the tag container — by googletagmanager.com and GTM-WNG9S9L2; the fonts — by fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com; the libraries — by cdn.jsdelivr.net, cdnjs.cloudflare.com; the first-party plugins — by the paths /wp-content/plugins/cookie-law-info/, /pixelyoursite-pro/, /woocommerce/. The absence of analytics and advertising is established by the absence of /collect requests and of requests to the corresponding nodes.
Conclusion
The Da Vinci chain’s website and its online bakery shop transmit no data to analytics or advertising when browsed: the Google Tag Manager container loads but sends not a single data request, and the PixelYourSite Pro pixel manager installed in the shop calls no pixel service at all. A consent banner with an equal-weight reject button operates in the shop. As soft caveats it can be noted that the main davinci.ee site has no banner and the GTM container and Google fonts load immediately, making the visitor’s IP address visible to Google; that Google Tag Manager and Google Fonts are not named in the documents; that the shop footer has no link to the data-protection terms, and the details in the footer and in the terms name different legal entities at the same address; that unfilled template placeholders remain in the attached copy of the terms; and that neither domain sets security headers. There are no transmissions to analytics or advertising in the recording that these measures would protect.
How to verify: download the file and compute its checksum — sha256sum file.har (Linux, macOS) or certutil -hashfile file.har SHA256 (Windows); it must match the one shown. The conclusions apply to the scope of this measurement — see the limitations of the method.
